This project aims to plan a large open space, create an urban green belt, improve the landscape and environment, integrate Dalin(大林) railway station and surrounding water fields, connect the blue-green belt system, combine such relevant space planning as "Dalin(大林) Railway Station," "Yujing(育菁) Riverside Park," and "Dalin(大林) Slow City Gateway Plan," integrate and develop the fields, and attach great importance to the sustainability of "ecology and environment" as important pillars.

The design integrates Dalin(大林) settlement and national road passenger transport, creates new landmarks, increases the activity space, and improves the convenience of local people and tourists to promote the development of Dalin(大林). a. Bus station configuration: (a) Station space: toilet, ticket booth/waiting area (air-conditioned), semi-outdoor multi-functional activity field. (b) Outdoor space: outdoor lawn (not the execution space of this planning period) and parking lot. b. Planning instructions:(a) Planning the advertising revenue wall above the canopy frame of the bus station; excess space can be rented as advertising billboards to increase the station’s income. (b) Planning the toilets and air-conditioned ticket booths/waiting areas; to plan the ticket booths and waiting areas to the air-conditioned indoor spaces to increase the comfort of waiting. (c) Semi-outdoor multi-functional activity field: A semi-outdoor activity field is planned under the canopy to provide an activity space for art and literature exhibitions, farmer's markets, etc. so the space is not affected by weather conditions.

The reconstruction of the key entrance space of Dalin(大林) shall integrate the water and green system of the town, and people will immediately understand the respect of Dalin(大林) for the local environment, local culture, and local life, which is the foundation for developing settlement and responds to the spatial value of Dalin(大林), which was certified as a (Citta Slow)(國際慢城) of Italy(義大利) in 2016. The goal of this plan is to optimize the texture of open space fields and foster a leisurely and quiet living atmosphere.
