Taiwan Railway Linkou(林口) Line Corridor Activation Project (Phase I)refers to the project from Taoyuan(桃園)-Linkou(林口) Railway to Sec. 2 of Nanshan Road, extending the previous Taoyuan(桃園)-Linkou(林口) Railway and its surrounding environment improvement plan, with a total length of about 1.4km. The main project involved the establishment of bicycle paths, sidewalks, and environmental landscaping. Taiwan Railway Linkou(林口) Line Corridor Activation Project (Phase II) aimed to provide comfortable and safe spaces for walking and cycling paths. The whole section is illuminated at night, making it a comfortable, safe, and ecologically rich urban green corridor and railway.
In the Taiwan Railway Linkou(林口) Line Corridor Activation Project, the whole section of Taiwan Railway (Linkou(林口) Line) retains the existing railway tracks and related railway road signs, showing the unique landscape of the Taoyuan(桃園)-Linkou(林口) Railway bicycle path. The tree planting and seedling selection continue the Taoyuan(桃園) downtown green ecological corridor. Through suitable planting at appropriate sites, it cooperates with good tree species and tree conditions to retain the trees planning and leisure site. People-oriented road pavement planning and stone pavement sections in the roadway intersection without signs and the entrance to buildings continue the shared road pavement and maintain the coherence and priority of the slow traffic system, with speed bumps at the intersection and pavement totem change within the range of about 15m on both sides to remind road users to pay attention to safety at the junction, differing from AC pavement paving material while providing a warning effect in driving.
