This project focuses on the improvement of the large green spaces adjacent to Taoyuan(桃園)-Linkou(林口) Railway, including Bianzhou(汴洲) Park, green space at the refinery’s south gate, Dakuaixi(大檜溪) Park, and Nanshan(南山) Park, as well as the rest of the Taoyuan(桃園)-Linkou(林口) Railway tourism greenbelt, to connect the bicycle lanes of Taoyuan(桃園)-Linkou(林口) Railway and existing Nankan(南崁) Creek Riverbank Bike Trail to improve Taoyuan(桃園)’surban bike trail system,enhance the town’s vitality, and increase the rate of greenery coverage and space optimization.

Through environmental consolidation and landscape greening, the space has been improved, and the open space interface of the railway axis has been arranged, connected, and integrated around the axis surrounding spaces, creating a friendly environment and improving the quality of urban life and spatial benefits. After the effective integration planning of Taoyuan(桃園)-Linkou(林口) Railway belt space and adjacent green spaces, the building entrance and exit forms on both sides of the axis were reversed. The adjacent green space on both sides of the axis can be connected with the green space of various parks in the city by the corridor axis. The project’s features are described below: 1. Connect Nankan(南崁) Creek Riverbank Bike Trail: Connecting the existing Nankan(南崁) Creek Riverbank Bike Trail and Taoyuan(桃園)-Linkou(林口) Railway bicycle lane, extending the bicycle lane, and improving the cycling environment. 2. Nanshang(南山) Park: Build a residential green park and extend Taoyuan(桃園)-Linkou(林口) Railway to the park to create a relaxing environment of backyard green space. 3. Green space at the refinery south gate: Originally a retreat green space for the refinery, it now increases the green area and physical facilities for children to improve the public utilization rate. 4. Bianzhou Park: Due to the lack of facilities and shade, the park utilization rate was affected. The theme activity field was introduced, and afforestation was added, with the water conservation and maintenance function to activate the park. 5. Dakuaixi(大檜溪) Park: The facilities were relatively old. The green space of the park, which was divided into two parts, will be reconstructed in combination with Taoyuan(桃園)-Linkou(林口) Railway to improve the quality of the park.

• Transform the human-centered environment of the core life circle:
  Activate the original corridor space of the Taiwan Railway Linkou(林口) Line, create a new style of Taoyuan green corridor, construct a perfect green traffic system, and provide commuting, school access, and recreation along the corridor.


• Build resilient and safe living environments:
  Increase the urban green lung, improve urban green quality, provide an ecological green belt and leisure spot for residents in communities along the line, strengthen regional landscape characteristics, and connect the blue and green belt space along the line (Nankan(南崁) Creek and Hutoushan(虎頭山), etc.).


• Create a locally attractive city and countryside:
  Combine with recreational resources along the corridor, connect a complete recreational belt, optimize the adjacent environment, preserve the railway culture and history of Taiwan Railway’s Linkou(林口) Line, transform the existing idle space, and integrate cross-district movement as a regional charm highlight.
